It's quiet and clean. There is a screened enclosed picnic area plus other scattered tables outside of that. A small play area for the kids, but the best part is the sandy beach!
Very nice beach park on the shores of Lake Superior. Great for swimming & rock hounding close to the Porcupine Mountains. Area is dog friendly, and while leashes are required, several dog owners enjoyed the beach without leashes (please use a leash). Area contained a changing room and picnic area
Nice quiet beach on Superior. It is just south of Octonotigon, mi. Private property on both sides of the park so stay on the beach below the high tide line.
Love, love this park/beach!! Agates, jasper, and yooperlites are just a few of the amazing Lake Superior rocks waiting to be discovered on this beautiful beach!
Small, donated, park located on the side of the highway. There were basic restrooms, a few picnic tables, etc. Basically it is a small restroom with a nice beach! I don't know that I would specifically search this park out to visit, but I didn't rate it as such. It is realky good, for what it is. Dog friendly with a leash. The beach is rocky, but very beautiful! Would work for a good place to eat and stretch the legs. Notes: there is no wayntk rinse the sand off your feet when you are done. Bring a bucket for water, a towel, or whatever you choose to combat this.
