The beach has a bar and food service area where the food is delicious and the overall atmosphere is fantastic.
In the early morning, you can spot fish near the shore before the beach gets crowded. Be cautious of sea urchins near the rocks and avoid swimming or walking in those areas.
My daughter and I visited this beach for the first time and we really enjoyed it. It's a small beach, but we appreciated the huts where we could store our belongings, especially when it started raining. The water was calm and warm, perfect for snorkeling not too far from the shore. The bathroom facilities were clean and there were plenty of them. We spent most of the day there and would definitely go back again.
The beach is stunning, with pavilions, restrooms, a parking lot, a bar/cafe, and food stalls nearby. We visited on a Sunday morning before everything was fully open, but there were still plenty of people swimming. There were lots of fish near the shore for snorkeling, and the water was calm enough for it in late April. Access to the restrooms is TT$3 or TT$10 for a day pass.
The beach by the facility has some rocks, but the water is typically very peaceful. It's a good spot for practicing open water swimming. The facility offers plenty of showers and changing rooms and is open until 6pm. After your swim, you can grab food and drinks at Anchor's Restaurant and Bar, conveniently located on the same property.
