The beach is absolutely stunning, with pristine white sands and crystal-clear water. There is a designated area with umbrellas and loungers, as well as convenient public toilets and outdoor showers. Additionally, there are two restaurants and a snack bar available for dining options. During our snorkeling adventure, my husband was delighted to spot numerous fish, and we even had the incredible opportunity to witness a pod of dolphins. What truly sets this beach apart is its tranquil atmosphere, as there are no beach vendors bothering visitors.
This beach is definitely one of the best I've visited recently. The water is crystal clear, the sand is incredibly soft, and there's ample parking available. Additionally, there are some great restaurants nearby and the beach itself offers plenty of space. It's definitely a beach that I would include in my top 10 list.
Comporta is consistently stunning and stands out from other beaches in the country due to its amenities. Visitors have access to restrooms, beverages, and food. It is a family-friendly beach where one can spot numerous children accompanied by their parents. The water boasts a mesmerizing turquoise hue, similar to the rest of Portugal, and maintains a refreshing cool temperature.
The beach is absolutely incredible. The water is calm, and once you adjust to it, it's pleasantly warm. There's a high likelihood of spotting dolphins, which is a major highlight. What sets this beach apart is its deserted nature. It offers a vast stretch of sandy shoreline, and if you find the perfect spot, there won't be anyone nearby. This tranquility is particularly important to me. Additionally, there is convenient free parking available on the side road, and it's just a short 10-minute walk through the gentle sand dunes to reach the deserted beach. Comporta is definitely a place you'll adore.
This place can be a bit pricey for locals, but you don't have to pay for a sunbed. You can bring your own umbrella and sunbed. The sand is a bit sticky, but the ocean is beautiful. Just be careful if it's windy, as it can get rough. There's a cafe that sells water, cocktails, and snacks.
