The beach is really nice and peaceful. Unfortunately, pets are not permitted. They have a kayak rental service available or you can bring your own. It's very convenient to get to the open water. The sunsets there are absolutely stunning.

We have been staying at this beautiful location for many years. There are no tall hotels here (thankfully), instead it has more of a cottage atmosphere, with palm trees and other vegetation, situated on a path that leads directly to the beach. You will find comfortable lounge chairs, beach umbrellas, bikes, and plenty of towels available for your use. The cottages were built with the preservation of natural vegetation in mind, which provides guests with a sense of privacy and allows the place to blend in with the surrounding landscape, something we truly appreciate. It may not be luxurious, but it is clean and comfortable, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Beth, who unfortunately passed away, was a wonderful person, and her husband Ed is also great. We always visit at the same time each year and eagerly anticipate seeing other returning guests at the Blue Dolphin. It is a simple and special place that has everything you need.

This stunning beach boasts a vibrant atmosphere, bustling with people, stores, and a lively boardwalk as soon as you cross the bridge. Multiple parking locations are available for a fee of $30, but be sure to do some research beforehand as some spots may only offer portable bathrooms. However, I opted to continue driving and stumbled upon the picturesque Newton Park. Though parking here costs $5.00 per hour, the park provides clean and well-maintained restrooms, as well as a refreshing water fountain. It's crucial to pay on time to avoid a $35 ticket, but the park also offers ample seating areas for families to enjoy. The ocean's calm and crystal-clear waters make it an ideal spot for children, and collecting shells is a popular activity here. While there are no umbrella rentals available, feel free to bring your own. With something for everyone, I wholeheartedly recommend this beach to all families.

Lighthouse beach

This beach has a stunning lighthouse at one end, making it a picturesque spot. The sand is light and the water is fun but can be rough. Unfortunately, parking is limited, but this is a common issue for Florida beaches. The cost is $5 per hour, and there are two restroom buildings available.

This beach is a true gem, complete with convenient amenities such as showers, a picnic area, and benches. While it's important to note that parking is located across the street, the beach itself is worth the short walk. Although there are swampy areas on the sides that may harbor gators, it's important to exercise caution and be aware of your surroundings. Despite this small concern, the beach itself is absolutely exceptional and well worth a visit.
