I really enjoy this beach because of its proximity to restaurants and a park right by the water. Although it's an open beach, there are shaded spots available if you need to take a break from the sun. It's a fantastic beach with plenty of free public parking and numerous options for eating and drinking.

Sunset Ave beach

This particular beach access is located adjacent to several private properties and can be accessed through a small gate. Street parking is available on N County Road, with a metered rate of approximately $5 per hour. From there, it's just a 5-minute walk to the beach. Compared to the busier accesses located to the south, there is plenty of parking available on this road. While there are no amenities such as showers, bathrooms, or lifeguards at this location, the upside is that there are fewer crowds. The beach is impeccably clean and is pet-friendly, with leashes required after sunrise. Trash bags for pet waste are also provided at the entrance.

Palm Island beach II

The beach is well-maintained and tidy.

This shoreline is known as the Brazilian Ave Public beach, although locals simply refer to it as the beach. Unfortunately, street parking is available but requires payment. However, visitors can still enjoy the picturesque views from the comfort of the benches provided. Lifeguards are present for a portion of the day to ensure safety. It's worth noting that there are no restrooms available, so plan accordingly. Overall, this beach is a must-visit for those seeking a serene and peaceful escape.

The club is really great, with excellent food and service! We decided to spend Easter there and guess who made an appearance? The President!

This state park is definitely one of my favorites. The boardwalk leading to the ocean is a stunning 1,600-foot walk over the estuarine system, but if you don't feel like walking, there's a tram available. Once you reach the beach, you'll be welcomed by white sands and blue ocean waters. During our stay, we were lucky enough to spot manatees swimming near the shore, and there were plenty of shells to collect. The water was crystal clear and the waves were just right for swimming. However, we did encounter quite a few Man of War on the beach.
