While traveling along Florida's east coast in our Class A motorhome, our nieces and nephews from Alaska were eager to find a beach to play in the water. After passing by a few crowded public parking lots, we stumbled upon Golden Sands Park. The parking lot was mostly empty and we found a great spot to park our motorhome. The beach was beautiful and the kids had a blast playing in the waves. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the beach was well-maintained and even had showers available.
We stumbled upon this beach during a drive and arrived around 7:30pm, which turned out to be the perfect time to visit. The beach offers ample parking, including handicapped spots, as well as public restrooms and vending machines for snacks and soda. Walking along the wooden boardwalk under a canopy of trees was a pleasant experience. Once the boardwalk ended, we stepped onto the clean sand and gazed out at the clear water. With very few people around, it was a perfect day to enjoy this beautiful Florida beach.
