The beach offers a serene atmosphere and stunning vistas. There are a few cafes that offer a scenic view of the beach. It is an ideal spot for surfing, and there is even a surfing school available. Non-surfers can also enjoy watching the surfers in action.
The beach is absolutely fantastic! Although parking at the Carbis Bay Hotel is available, keep in mind that it's limited and can be quite pricey at £20 per day. Alternatively, there are other car parks located down the road, but be prepared for a steep hill climb. For a more affordable option, we parked at St Erth train station which is just a short 10-minute drive away. The all-day parking fee is only £3.90, and you can easily hop on the train to reach Carbis Bay in no time.
This beach is one of the best I've ever visited, anywhere. It has a similar vibe to some of the beaches in New South Wales. The sand is great, the beach is clean, and it hasn't been overdeveloped (at least not yet). There are car parking and restroom facilities available, and the new bar below the Sand Bar is a great spot to relax with a cold beer and enjoy the stunning views. It's truly beautiful.
This beach is absolutely stunning, the most beautiful one we've ever seen! It can be a bit tricky to find and access, making it not ideal for those with pushchairs or in wheelchairs. After driving down to the surrounding hillside and walking past a freshwater lake and cobbles, we finally reached this breathtaking beach. Walking barefoot along the long and beautiful stretch of sand felt like a slice of Heaven - peaceful, spacious, and calming. The beach was virtually deserted, with the soothing sound of the waves and the vast blue sky above. We enjoyed watching the surfers and collecting rocks and pebbles. The only downside was that many people brought their dogs to the beach, which wasn't a problem except for the occasional bag of dog waste left at the entrance, tarnishing an otherwise beautiful spot.
