This island is a wonderful spot to indulge in some snorkelling. The space here is more abundant compared to Khai Nuk, making it more appealing. However, it's crucial to bring water shoes as there are scattered broken glass bottles on the beach. In addition, the chairs are available for 150 baht and jet skis for 1500 baht, so it's essential to carry some cash while going on these tours.
This beach destination was absolutely luxurious, with an ambiance that felt timeless and reminiscent of a bygone era where everything was crafted by hand. The staff provided impeccable service, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. Special thanks to Fred, who helped us secure a table for dinner! While it may not be the most budget-friendly option, the level of care and attention to detail made it well worth the price. We highly recommend any of the ocean view rooms, as they offer stunning vistas of the surrounding scenery. Kayaking is also complimentary, and the room service is top-notch. The only downside we encountered was the difficulty in obtaining alcoholic drinks due to the predominantly Muslim culture of the island. Overall, we would highly recommend this destination for a 1-2 day stay, just make sure to plan accordingly for your libations!
We visited during the off season and found the rooms and location to be excellent. However, the front desk staff appeared slightly annoyed when assisting us, and the restaurant didn't meet our expectations. For a better dining experience, we recommend renting a motorcycle/moped and riding towards the town for about 15 minutes.
We traveled to a serene and petite beach in a sidecar, and despite the bumpy ride, it was manageable. The water was crystal clear, but unfortunately, we had to navigate through a lot of litter to reach the beach, which detracted from the potential privacy of the location.
When we arrived at the beach, there wasn't a single soul in sight. We had the entire beach to ourselves, allowing us to fully relish in its beauty. Strolling along the shoreline without any other individuals was truly remarkable. In general, the beach appeared to be well-maintained during our visit.
