This location is a must-visit for those seeking a tranquil beach experience. However, it is not recommended for families with young children or individuals who are under the influence or uncomfortable with deep waters. Unfortunately, the beach has been polluted with plastic waste, which detracts from its natural beauty. In 2004, a devastating tsunami struck the area, resulting in the destruction of over 1,000 families' homes. The evidence of this tragedy can still be seen today, with a large burial ground located just a few meters from the beach. The foundations of the destroyed homes are also visible. During our visit, we were able to witness the impact of the tsunami on a boat that had been washed ashore. Despite the tragic history of the area, the beach remains a picturesque destination for those seeking a serene escape.
