Although it is a bit dangerous as it is a dirt road for the first few kilometres I deem it so worth the experience! The beautiful scenery and crips cold water was definitely worth the drive. We loved taking our pups for a swim and enjoyed the beautiful sunsets while playing board games until the sun came up I would definitely plan my next week-long trip there!

This beach is absolutely gorgeous and feels very secure. It's a great spot to relax and enjoy the scenery, which is truly breathtaking.

Brenton beach

The beach offers stunning views and is conveniently located near the rocky outcrops for exploration. However, the swimming area is quite small, which is typical of most beaches in the region. On the bright side, the beach is quite long and even connects with Buffels Bay for those who enjoy long walks. The only drawback is the access, as it requires a bit of a hike down the cliff from the parking lot.

This sandy haven in Knysna is a top choice for families with little ones. The kiddos can frolic in the waves while parents kick back and soak up some sun. However, be forewarned that the restrooms (aka porta loos) may not always be up to par. So, if you're feeling brave, go ahead and venture in. But if you're a bit squeamish, it might be best to hold it until you get back to your hotel.

Upon my first visit, I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and fresh scent of the restroom facilities. The beach boasts spacious campsites adorned with lush lawns. Additionally, the breathtaking views of both sunrise and sunset are truly awe-inspiring.
