While not the most outstanding beach, it certainly had its merits. The picturesque scenery and crystal-clear waters were a sight to behold, but the currents and waves were quite forceful. If you plan on bringing children under the age of 12, exercise caution. It could have been the time of year, but it's better to err on the side of caution. We took a leisurely stroll up to the Lighthouse, which was the main attraction, but unfortunately, it was closed. The walk was not too far or steep, though. For lunch, we stopped at Julissa, which was satisfactory, but the long wait and preferential treatment towards other patrons who arrived after us left a sour taste in our mouths. We were a large group, and with only one server, we expected to wait, but not for two hours for a beer. The bathrooms by the kayak rental and parking area were free and had showers and decent toilets, although some lacked seats, so it's best not to let your little ones go alone.
The food was delicious and thankfully I didn't get bitten by any scorpions. The rooster woke me up early, allowing me to fully enjoy my day. The electricity worked perfectly when it was on. Surprisingly, I managed to avoid any dog bites throughout my stay. I'm eagerly looking forward to returning.
This is an ideal destination to explore! The beach is stunning! It is immaculate, almost like being in heaven. It's a beautiful spot.
