Atsimo-Andrefana - all beaches

The lodge is indeed beautiful and well-maintained, but unfortunately lacks any kind of atmosphere. Additionally, the unfriendly attitude of the French owner makes it feel like a burden to be there, which may explain why many of the staff appear solemn. We heard of two other guests who had a disagreement with her. Moreover, there is only one option available for dinner on the menu, and it is considerably more expensive compared to other places we visited in Madagascar. Although the absence of running water is not a deal breaker, it would be wiser to save your money and visit Peter Pan down the beach on the other side of the village. It offers a significantly lower price, as well as running water, electricity, and a diverse and delicious menu combining Italian and Malagasy cuisine.

There are three bungalows right on the beach, offering an excellent location. However, the bungalows located further in the garden are also well-equipped and perfect holiday spots for relaxation. Additionally, we have a restaurant where Top Chef Tony ensures that everything is prepared and presented in a superb style at a reasonable price. Overall, it is the best holiday destination at Mangily beach.

What an incredible place to begin or end your trip in Madagascar! The staff is absolutely fantastic and highly professional, always ready to assist you in organizing your activities or simply to help you relax and enjoy the beach with a delightful cocktail in hand. They have a great selection of South African wines. The beds are extremely comfortable and the rooms are impeccably clean, offering breathtaking views. The lady manager went above and beyond to ensure we had the opportunity to try langouste, and thanks to her, we were able to enjoy both langouste and perfectly arranged activities. You quickly feel at home here, so be sure to have your return flight booked, or else you won't want to leave this extraordinary place. Many thanks to the entire team!

We had a great time at Le Paradisier during our trip to Madagascar this month. The pool was nice, the rooms were comfortable with stunning views, and the public areas like the restaurant, bar, and lounge were also enjoyable.
