The waters may not be crystal clear, and the sand may not be pristine, but such is the charm of Calabria's beaches. The sea may appear a bit turbid, and there may be some debris that washes up on shore, but this is all part of the natural beauty of the area. As you wade into the water, you may encounter some stones, but this too is part of the rugged charm of the beach. Despite these minor imperfections, there are still plenty of reasons to visit this beach. For one, there is free parking along the dirt road, making it easy to access. And while the kiosk may have been abandoned on the day of my visit, it is possible that it will be up and running again in the near future. In fact, I spotted a family renting an umbrella, which suggests that the beach is still a popular destination for locals and tourists alike.

When we're in town, we always choose this beach as our go-to destination. It may not offer complete serenity or Michelin-starred meals, but it embodies the quintessential Italian beach experience. We're always made to feel welcome and secure, and the food is unpretentious yet superbly crafted - just as one would expect.

This is a small beach that is popular among the locals for fishing. Beyond the wall, there is a lovely little rocky bay that is not very crowded and can be accessed by a wooden staircase.

Whenever I visit Calabria, my hometown, I always make sure to visit the beach with its modern facilities and man-made bay that rivals even the best swimming pools. The crystal-clear water and rocky formations make it perfect for diving and admiring the beauty of the sea. Moreover, the water is not too deep, making it safe for children to enjoy. This place is the epitome of serenity and calmness, perfect for unwinding and finding peace.

This enchanting destination is ideal for those seeking a tranquil escape and a chance to unwind, as well as those craving excitement and a wild summer adventure. The breathtaking sea view is the perfect backdrop for a delightful lunch or dinner, and the attentive and skilled staff ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience from beginning to end. The cuisine is exceptional, with delectable first courses and the famous frying by the metre being particular highlights. I highly recommend this location to anyone in search of a truly unforgettable experience.
