This lido is truly delightful, offering a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Conveniently accessible by bus from Lecce, it boasts a stunning beach that's perfect for sunbathing and swimming. However, it's important to note that when the north wind blows, it can be challenging to remain on the beach. Nonetheless, the staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating, and if you're feeling peckish, they offer delicious sandwiches that are perfect for a quick snack.

Upon arrival at the beach, we parked our vehicle at via Spazzolini and strolled along a wooden bridge to reach the shore. The beach was adorned with rocks and dark patches of algae, making it a challenge to find a suitable spot for bathing.

We had a really terrible experience with the hotel website. We booked a family room for 3 adults, which was advertised as being 28 square meters. However, when we arrived at the hotel, the room was only about 13 square meters. It was impossible for three people to live comfortably in such a small space. The hotel manager was never present and did not make any effort to address our concerns. Their lack of professionalism was absolutely disappointing. The beach, which was advertised as having sandy shores, was actually located on a dirt road. The rooms had private balconies that overlooked the sea, but unfortunately, these balconies lacked privacy as they were accessible through French windows and everyone could see what their neighbors were doing. Additionally, there was a strange design flaw where guests staying in room 201 on the first floor and room 201 on the second floor had the windows of the neighboring bathrooms facing their balconies. This lack of privacy was quite unsettling. It is important to note that the payment is made during check-in, so if you decide to change hotels due to these issues, you will lose all the money you have already spent, as per the non-refundable reservation clauses. Despite our complaints about the size of the room, the hotel did not offer to change our room but instead modified the website by removing the information about the square footage.
