Velo - all beaches

This coastal gem is truly heavenly, but requires a bit of effort to reach. One must either embark on a pleasant ten-minute stroll or possess a sturdy 4-wheel drive vehicle.

The beach, known as "Always wavy," is similar to how we say "it always rains" in the canyon. However, the ocean is clean and even with the consistent northern winds, you can still have a pleasant swim. Additionally, strolling along the lengthy boardwalk is also quite enjoyable.

This stunning beach is undoubtedly one of the most remarkable destinations for seaside lovers. Its crystal-clear waters and soft, yellow sand make it an ideal spot for swimming, sunbathing and relaxing. This beach is truly a gem of nature, and it's no wonder why it's considered as one of the best beaches in Greece.

We attended a wedding reception at the beach. The staff was incredibly friendly, constantly checking in to see if we needed anything and clearing up after us. The food was delicious with a great variety. The location and atmosphere were absolutely stunning.

To access this pristine beach, a sturdy 4x4 or a vehicle of little value is recommended. However, the effort is well worth it as the beauty of the surroundings is truly breathtaking, particularly when the area is not congested with visitors. Additionally, there is a cave situated on a nearby hill that we had the opportunity to explore, though it is only suitable for experienced climbers due to its challenging terrain.
