This beach is truly remarkable. However, the journey to get there can be quite challenging whether you decide to trek on foot or take a car. As we were traveling with two young children, we opted to drive our spacious Sharan 7N all the way to the end of the road without any issues.
Undoubtedly, this beach stands out as the most exceptional one among all the islands. Its shoreline is adorned with pebbles while the water bed is covered with fine sand. The crystal clear blue water is a sight to behold. Although we only spent an hour there, we realized that snorkeling was not an option as the seabed was mostly sandy and rocky. However, it was the perfect spot for swimming. The parking fee is quite reasonable, costing 20 kuna for two hours and 40 kuna for the whole day.
This swimming spot is supposedly breathtaking, but let's be real, it's just another pebble beach with nothing special to offer. Sure, there are no crowds or seaweed, but that's only because no one cares to make the trek down the rugged road to get there. And if you do manage to make it, good luck finding a place to park. But hey, if you're into mediocre views and a lack of amenities, then this is the spot for you. And if you're feeling really adventurous, you can swim or kayak out to some supposedly hidden caves. But let's be honest, they're probably not that hidden if they're mentioned in every other review. Overall, this place is just another overhyped tourist trap that's not worth the effort it takes to get there. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else on the island.
The serene atmosphere of this beach is truly remarkable, with its soft sand and crystal-clear waters. The tranquility of the surroundings is truly unmatched, making it a perfect spot for relaxation and rejuvenation. The sandy beach is perfect for sunbathing, while the clear sea invites you to take a refreshing dip. This is a truly idyllic location for anyone seeking a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
The bar owner is likely the friendliest person on the entire island. Earlier, our boat unexpectedly ran out of fuel, but he kindly offered to drive me to the nearest gas station without expecting anything in return. I am truly grateful for his kindness and wish him and his family all the best. Thank you, my friend!
This beach, once overlooked and unappreciated, now offers a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Its untouched beauty and pristine sands beckon visitors to bask in the warm sun and take a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear waters. This hidden gem may have been forgotten by some, but for those who discover it, it becomes a cherished retreat that offers a sense of tranquility and rejuvenation.
