Latest reviews on Achada Baleia's beaches

Praia de Sao Francisco

We've been to many beaches, but this one was the best, even compared to Tarrafal. The sand is lovely and the beach stretches far. It can get quite windy and you may encounter shells poking your feet, so be sure to wear sandals and find a spot shielded from the wind!

Praia Clarinha
8 Ghislaine Rivers

The room was spacious, but the issue was with the water. We had to go downstairs to inform them that there was no water supply. It would be great if they could offer some refreshments at the swimming pool, perhaps a bar.

Sao Tome Beach

As I sauntered down to the shore, I couldn't help but admire the picturesque view of the beach. The serene ambiance was just what I needed to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. However, my excitement was short-lived as I dipped my toes into the water and was greeted by a murky and grimy surprise. It's safe to say that the water was far from crystal clear. But hey, at least the beach looked nice, right?

Praia Baixo

This beach on Santiago Island is definitely one of the top picks. The gray sand adds a unique touch to the stunning scenery. It's a great spot to relax and soak up the sun.

Praia de Mangue

Unfortunately, the path leading to the beach has been restricted to private use, rendering it inaccessible to the public. It's a real shame because this beach was once a hidden gem, boasting crystal clear waters and soft sand that tickled your toes. The tranquil atmosphere and stunning scenery made it the perfect spot for a peaceful getaway. It's truly disappointing that it's no longer accessible to everyone.
