This beach is great - it's clean and not too busy compared to other Bulgarian beaches. The water is crystal clear at the far ends. Prices for umbrellas and sunbeds range from 6 to 10 leva, from what I saw. There are plenty of bars and restaurants, but no loud music during the day. You can also rent jet skis and go banana boating. If you're looking for a more natural and peaceful atmosphere, head to the far end of the beach when coming from Sozopol.
When we visited, Harmanite beach was quieter than the neighboring bamboo beach. It is a large beach with plenty of space to lay down your towel, unlike at Bamboo Beach. Additionally, they have a cozy little bar where you can enjoy a drink while watching the sun set.
For consecutive days, they claimed everything was reserved when it was obviously not the case. I would not recommend it. The free area is limited and filled with rocks.
I was pleasantly surprised by the beach as I had expected it to be dirtier, but it turned out to be quite clean and enjoyable. The golden sand added to the beauty of the beach.
The city beach is nice, clean, and spacious, with easy access through the park. There is plenty of room for those who don't need umbrellas or lounge chairs. The sand is naturally dark because of the high iron content. It is safe to visit at night.
