6 Pleasant

Sleeping by the beach was a pleasant experience, but unfortunately, there was a mix-up with our booking that we had made and paid for a week in advance. Despite corresponding online to confirm everything, we arrived to find that there was no room available for us. They were able to eventually accommodate us, first in one of the outdated rooms and then in a neighboring fale that was not traditional, but covered in bright blue plastic that ended up sticking to our faces instead of the usual coconut leaf walls. The pictures posted by the property were also misleading as the food served did not match what was shown, and the fales were not as depicted. Despite these issues, sleeping on the beach itself was enjoyable. In the future, I would consider booking with a different provider.

The Fales at this beach are stunning and all natural. We got a great deal because we brought our own camping gear to stay in them. We stayed for 5 nights because this place truly embodies the island paradise with rainforest mountains meeting pristine beaches with white sand and crystal-clear water. Lalomanu, which we believe is the most beautiful beach on the entire island, is just a short drive away. The breakfast included was also delicious.

Thank you for hosting us at your beautiful beachfront fales and for the amazing hospitality. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the staff were friendly, the food was delicious, and waking up to the breathtaking view of the white sand beach was a highlight. I highly recommend staying here if you get the opportunity.

4 Frustrating

Staying in the traditional beach huts is usually a pleasant experience, but not at this particular location. You might expect a peaceful night with the soothing sound of the waves, but unfortunately, these huts are situated near a loud restaurant that serves as a gathering spot for local residents who stay up late drinking and chatting until midnight. The food and service are decent, but I cannot recommend this place unless they take better care of their guests' comfort and safety.

We had an amazing time at Faofao Beach Fales. The hosts were fantastic, the food was delicious, the price was great, the bed was comfortable, and the snorkeling was incredible. I highly recommend it.
