This beautiful beach is just a quick stroll from the carpark, and boasts gorgeous sand that's perfect for sunbathing or building sandcastles. The water is refreshingly cool near the shore, but once you venture further out, it becomes pleasantly warm. Parking is available for just £6 for the entire day, or you can opt for shorter stays with rates of £1.50 for an hour or £3 for two hours. While there is a phone service available for payment, it may not work due to the lack of signal and internet access in the area.
As someone who has explored many beaches in Wales, I can confidently say that this particular one is a true gem. It's actually my personal favorite in the Gower region. If you're up for a bit of adventure, I highly suggest taking a stroll along the coastal path to Langland. With a bit of luck, you might even spot some seals! When the tide is low, the beach seems to stretch on endlessly, and when the tide is high, it transforms into a charming little cove. However, keep in mind that parking can be quite a challenge on busy summer days.
The beach is truly splendid. We relished a bright and warm day in its embrace. Conveniently, there is a shower in close proximity, allowing for a refreshing rinse before departing.
The beach is absolutely delightful and offers the added bonus of some excellent rock climbing opportunities. Its picturesque setting is sure to captivate your senses and leave you feeling rejuvenated.
A conveniently located beach, with exceptional protection from the elements, is situated just a short distance from the charming town of Mumbles. Although the parking area may be restricted, there are restrooms available to the public, and a handful of cozy shops where you can satisfy your hunger and thirst.
