La Plaia beach is located on the Adriatic Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 49th place out of 87 beaches in the Vlorë region The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs.

It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and light fine pebble, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

A place where you can dip your toes in the clean water and enjoy a lovely lunch...if you can wait until 1pm for the grill food to be served. Just don't expect a cup of joe to go with it, as the coffee machine seems to be on the fritz. All in all, not the worst beach around, but you can probably do better.

Unfortunately, there isn't a lot of space to stretch out on a towel, and you have to pay for a sunbed, which is a downside. On the bright side, the water is crystal clear and tranquil.
