Karpen beach is located on the Adriatic Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 4th place out of 7 beaches in the Tirana region 33.2 km away from its center, the city of Tirana. It is one of the beaches of Karpen settlement, just 1.1 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains.

It is a spacious several bays coastline with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, families with children, seniors etc. It is not crowded place during the season. There is a campsite located nearby.

A significant part of the beach has a restricted access. The beach facilities are only available to hotel guests. Their list includes, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, toilets. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities.

The beach is really nice and has ample space for everyone. It's easily accessible by car. If you need them, the camping grounds and hotels nearby have sun beds available. However, it's recommended to bring your own food or snacks since the bars in the area only serve drinks.

The beach here has significantly less trash compared to Spille beach, but it still requires a proper cleaning. Even on busy Saturdays during peak season, it offers a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere. I highly suggest this beach for families with kids as there are no sea urchins or sea anemones. It's advisable to steer clear of the sunbeds and instead head slightly to the left. By doing so, you can discover secluded spots for sunbathing.

The beach is clean and peaceful, and it doesn't get too crowded on the weekends. There's a convenient camper parking area, and you'll find some restaurants nearby. The road leading to the beach is smooth asphalt, with no twists or hills, except for the last 500 meters which are a dirt road.
