The beach can be easily located, and Google Maps provides accurate directions. However, the road leading to the beach is in poor condition, with bumps, and you will have to drive through an industrial area. Once you arrive, there is ample parking available, including space for campers, and a pleasant restaurant situated uphill. The price for sunbeds and umbrellas is 1000 Albanian leke (9€), which, in my opinion, is slightly overpriced considering what is offered. This is why I am giving it a rating of 4 stars. The beach is not crowded, and the view is delightful. As a sandy beach, it is quite clean and well-maintained, making it a hidden gem near Durres. I highly recommend visiting this place!
The beach is truly amazing with its soft sand and relatively clear water (considering it's a sand beach). You can easily find refreshments like drinks and snacks available for purchase. However, it's worth noting that renting a bed and parasol can be quite pricey at 1000 lek, which may seem expensive for this particular area. Despite that, I highly recommend visiting this beach!
We were a bit taken aback when we drove from Durres and had to pass through an industrial area, onto a rough road with the sea on one side and a marshy marshland on the other. We almost considered turning back, but luckily we decided to continue until the road's end. At that point, we discovered a parking area and as we ascended the hill and reached the summit, a stunning beach came into view. It was not overly crowded and we managed to find sunbeds right at the water's edge. It was a small, hidden treasure and definitely worth visiting.
The beach is incredibly beautiful, although it's important to note that there is a significant amount of litter and there are bothersome flies that tend to bite. My partner and I visited during the off-season, allowing us to have the entire beach to ourselves and avoid any fees. We decided to check out the restaurant and sample their food. Unfortunately, they had a lot of out-of-season dishes available, which we appreciated. However, the price for the sea bream portion (which turned out to be octopus) was not justified. I opted for the seafood risotto, which was decent but quite pricey considering the portion size. Overall, it was a bit underwhelming. I imagine that during the peak season, the food would be improved.
The beach is absolutely wonderful, with a fantastic atmosphere and incredibly friendly locals. The beach itself is impeccably clean, and the breathtaking views of the water are simply incredible. The bar is incredibly cozy, with fantastic music and very reasonable prices. Overall, it was an absolutely fantastic experience!
