El Nakheel Beach is located on the Mediterranean Sea and it is in the 6th place out of 34 beaches in the Alexandria region 17.8 km away from its center, the city of Alexandria. It is one of the beaches of Al Hanuvil settlement, just 2.2 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a long lasting coastline with crystal turquoise water and white fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, seniors etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

I came to the beach on Friday afternoon and it was very crowded. I had to walk quite a distance to find a less crowded area. It was a weekly day off, so many families came to enjoy the beach. The beach itself had sandy shores, but unfortunately, it was also filled with litter. Although there were bins available, it seemed like not many people used them. Despite that, it was nice to see lots of families having a great time. I witnessed at least two families who had lost their kids and were frantically searching for them. This seems to be a common occurrence here, given the large number of people and the possibility of kids getting lost. Overall, it's a busy place to take a dip in the Red Sea, but if you're looking for a quiet and relaxed time, it's best to avoid coming on Fridays. Please note that at the time of writing, there was an entry fee of 15EGP per person to access this part of the seaside.
