Positive aspects: The beach offers a refrigerator that can cool items to temperatures between 5 and 10 degrees. The ocean is beautiful, and the weather is generally breezy. Additionally, the lady in charge of the campers is kind and actively tries to find solutions to any issues that arise. Negative aspects: Unfortunately, the prices at the market are significantly higher than normal, and there is a shortage of showers and toilets. Furthermore, electricity is only supplied from a single point, meaning that if someone unplugs it, your electricity will be cut off. This was a recurring issue during our week-long stay, and even our personal ammonia fridge failed to cool properly. It was quite disappointing to have brought a caravan only to feel like we were camping in tents. The lack of rules is a major problem for the business, as families are able to monopolize all three shared refrigerators. Additionally, there were concerns about security, as caravans were allowed to enter the premises at night without proper checks. It would greatly benefit the operators to visit the campsite and address these issues in order to ensure both security and fair treatment for all guests. I sincerely hope that the problems regarding the provision of these services can be resolved.
I would rate the beach primarily due to its proximity. However, I must say that the staff doesn't seem particularly interested in accommodating the customers. Additionally, although there is a camping entrance fee of 200 TL per person, the price for using the sunbeds on the beach is also added (75 TL for campers and 100 TL for day visitors). While they do have restaurants and other amenities, the prices are significantly higher compared to those in the nearby resort town. For instance, a meatball bread costs 150 TL in Akyaka, but here it is priced at 70-80 TL. The closest markets, such as A101, Bim, Migros, and the local bazaar, are located in the center of Ören and Akyaka, both of which are approximately 22 km away from the camping area. Although there are shower and toilet facilities available, the water used is mixed with seawater, making it impractical to take a shower. Unfortunately, it defeats the purpose of having a shower in this case. You are provided with a shelf in the common area refrigerator, which can be used free of charge (though they might request it back soon). There is a barbecue area, but it was unclean. However, you are still able to have a barbecue there. The lack of proper organization is evident, as they clean the cafeteria area daily, but the frequently used transit route remains muddy. Honestly, apart from the beach, I couldn't find satisfaction. It disappoints me that they prioritize profit over customer satisfaction. For all the reasons mentioned above, I cannot recommend it.
The place is called Here's This Camping, but unfortunately, someone has changed the name and spread it around. However, our 8-day camping experience here was problem-free. The toilets are kept very clean, and the camp provides all the necessary refrigerator needs for the guests. There are designated areas for washing dishes as well. The beach and the surrounding environment are absolutely beautiful. The operator, Ms. Nilgün, is quite selective when it comes to accepting guests. We are already making plans to stay here for a month next year.
We are currently on our third night at the campground, and we plan to stay with our caravan for an additional two nights. As someone who has stayed at numerous camping areas in and around Muğla, I'd like to share my thoughts on this seaside camping area. Despite some initial hesitation due to the comments we read, we were pleasantly surprised to find that it is a highly suitable camping area for us. Let me now share my observations: 1. This place is perfect for families and those who have a deep respect for nature. 2. If you treat others with respect, you will receive the same level of respect and love in return. 3. The sea here is absolutely amazing. 4. Don't forget to bring sea shoes, as they are essential. 5. The toilets and showers are kept in immaculate condition. 6. It's important to note that the water in this region tends to be salty, which is not unique to this particular campground but rather a common characteristic of most camping areas in the area. Therefore, it would be beneficial for caravan owners to bring 3-4 demijohns of freshwater. However, the owners and staff at the campground are also helpful in this regard. (It's important to know what you need.) 7. This is a campground that welcomes and accommodates animals. 8. Even if you happen to be a picky camper, you won't be disappointed here. In fact, I think it's excellent. We are already looking forward to coming back to this place every year for our summer vacation, without a second thought.
