Ufuk beach is located on the Aegean Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 446th place out of 517 beaches in the Mugla region The beach is located in a natural place with very picturesque views, among the mountains. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and gray pebble, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. Akkumluk, formerly known as Horizon Beach, is an uninhabited place where I used to fish 40 years ago. Unfortunately, it has become a popular spot for people to leave their garbage. On the hills above, there is a king's tomb and some ancient ruins. The locals used to feed on honey and seafood, and the oysters and shells they ate can still be seen among the ruins.

This beach is a tranquil spot, with no one around. The ocean is stunningly clear and clean, but the shoreline is quite dirty. Additionally, there are plenty of sea urchins in the water, and the seabed is rocky and stony.
