This beach is tranquil and the ocean is glistening. Make sure to bring an umbrella or something to provide shade. If you can, bring your own food. It's a really lovely beach.
This beach on the way to Knidos is a tranquil and serene spot, definitely worth a stop to take in the stunning ocean view.
Yazıköy is located 144 km from Muğla city center and 26 km from Datça. It is a village situated on the way to the ancient city of Knidos, at the end of the Datça Peninsula. There is also a neighborhood called Belenköy, 1 km away from the village. The climate of the village is influenced by the Mediterranean climate. Its people make a living from agricultural products such as almonds, olives, and carob, as well as beekeeping and tourism activities. There are 4 restaurants in the village, where a large amount of wine is consumed, two inside the village and two outside the village (Esentepe and Knidos). The ancient city of Knidos is part of the village's administrative division. There is a wine production farm in Değirmenbükü by the sea, 3 km from the village. There are old stone houses in both Yazıköy and its neighboring Belenköy. Bağlaröz (Bağlizin), Domuzini, Galamış, Kütük Burnu, Gıyrap, Eştengil, Değirmenbükü, Guylucak, Barkaz, Murdala bays and their locations are among the places worth visiting around the village. There is a primary school in the village. The village does not have a sewerage network, but it does have a drinking water network. There is no PTT branch or PTT agency. There is no health center or health post. The road that provides access to the village is asphalt and there is electricity and fixed telephone in the village.
This beach is a tranquil, serene spot that has been partially left untouched. It looks stunning from the Knidos road, though the road is in very poor condition and you can only drive at 10 km/h. The beach is a combination of sand and pebbles. On the day we visited, it was windy and the sea was choppy, so we decided not to go in.
