The beach is situated on a hill connected to Mount Nador, with another area of the city stretching along the coastline, referred to as Zahr Ayad and Al-Hamary in French.
Rafraf is a small town situated on the southern coast of the Mediterranean Sea in the northeast corner of Tunisia. The beach is a natural, undeveloped beauty with soft, white sand and a larger bay surface. The town faces north to south, and the mountains facing the sea are adorned with thick, straight pine trees, adding a pop of color to the bay. About 2 kilometers away from the shore is a rocky mountain made of sedimentary rocks that has been shaped by wind erosion and carving over hundreds of millions of years, resembling a top hat floating on the sea. Some call it the Warship Island, while others see it as a submarine, but its appearance sparks the imagination of all who see it. The island goes by the general name of French ile Pilau (Pilau Island) in English and قمن ارية in Arabic, which means fire peak.
The beach and water are absolutely stunning ❤️
The beach is a wonderful spot that has yet to be completely marred by the presence of man-made structures. It is a great location to unwind and enjoy the natural surroundings.
