Plage de Lutry is located on the Geneva Lake and it is in the 13th place out of 46 beaches in the Vaud region The beach is located in an urban area. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and gray pebble, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

The beach by the lake is really nice, but the excessive security can be a bit of a letdown and ruin the overall atmosphere. However, the Buvette is fantastic.

This beach is a long-time favorite of mine. The addition of the new reclined benches is a nice touch, although you need to arrive early to secure one. Each bench comfortably accommodates two adults. The bar and restaurant counter are impressively efficient, and the food is excellent. However, finding a seat can be a bit chaotic. I think I'll start bringing my own camping table in the future.

The beach has a genuine beachy feel with the ocean. However, it's currently quite chilly with a strong breeze that creates powerful waves. Surprisingly, this is what sets this place apart. There are cozy chairs on the sand and a well-maintained public restroom, which is a definite plus. It's definitely a great spot for a picnic or to relax and savor some delicious food.

The beach area is beautifully clean, upholding the usual excellent Swiss standard. It's important to note that there is not much sand, only pebbles at the water's edge, so those with sensitive feet should be cautious. There are good catering facilities available, offering a variety of food options. The beach is quite busy, attracting many families. I highly recommend it!
