Playa del Bacone is located on the Balearic Sea and it is in the 33th place out of 118 beaches in the Tarragona region 56.1 km away from its center, the city of Tarragona. It is one of the beaches of l'Ampolla settlement, just 1.2 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, surrounded by the cliffs.

It is a straight coastline with blue water and rocks cover, so it is highly recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal.
