Playon de Bayas is located on the Atlantic ocean and it is in the 69th place out of 101 beaches in the Asturias region 28.8 km away from its center, the city of Oviedo. It is one of the beaches of Carbajal settlement, just 1.8 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains.

It is a long lasting coastline with turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

Playon de Bayas coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities. There are also some surf spots.

This beach is easily accessible, it is located very close to road. Parking is located at some distance, within 300 meters.

That place is an amazing spot, boasting a wide expanse of sand that's thin and slightly darker in hue. It's a great place for dog owners and those who prefer to go without clothes - a freedom that should be available to everyone, since these places are open to all. This location is so huge it'll take you a good 30 minutes to stroll from one end to the other. But be warned - if the tide is high, you won't be able to enjoy the whole beach, as it's split in two. So if you're planning to grab a bite in the only bar around, make sure you go at low tide. Driving is also an option, but it'll take you at least 20 minutes to get from one side to the other, thanks to the airport in the middle. But with amazing views and a must-see sunset, it's totally worth it!

The beach was packed when we arrived, and finding a parking spot was a nightmare. The best option was to park at the top, but it was still a struggle. The nudist beach at the far end was the only place to get away from the crowds.
