Area Gorda beach is located on the Atlantic ocean and it is in the 13th place out of 187 beaches in the Pontevedra region 18.9 km away from its center, the city of Pontevedra. It is one of the beaches of A Lanzada settlement, just 0.3 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, surrounded by the cliffs.

It is a spacious bay with crystal turquoise water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, families with children, seniors etc. It is very crowded place during the season.

This place is truly spectacular - it's clean and well-serviced, making it a great spot to chill out with your family or pals. The views of the Atlantic are magnificent, and the sunsets are breathtaking. Plus, there are plenty of beach bars and eateries in the vicinity that offer a wide selection of food and drinks. I've been to many beaches, and this one is definitely one of the best. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to visit and experience it.

Expansive and the sunsets are stunning. It's a great spot for surfers, with good waves, and for those who prefer to take a stroll, there's plenty of soft white sand. There are a few bars and some surf schools, but unfortunately, there are no showers available for rinsing off the salt after a swim. The parking lot is large and there are plenty of pathways to explore.

That place is a spectacular place with impressive beaches. It is clean and well-equipped, making it very accessible and easy to get to. If I don't give it 5 stars, it's because the sand is quite thick and coarse, which takes away from the idyllic atmosphere. Nevertheless, it is still a great spot and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit.
