The journey to the cove is incredibly picturesque and not too strenuous. It's important to wear appropriate footwear though. The cove is a bit of an eyesore as it's constructed from stone and the sea washes up all the rubbish we discard. It's a 40-minute maximum trek.
Cala Fornells is quite a distance away from Port de la Selva, a 45-minute journey in fact. You have to traverse a winding, green route that runs through the mountains close to the town. While the walk may be pleasant, the beach itself is stunning. However, bear in mind that there is no Wi-Fi access here. Additionally, the beach is made up of stones, so take care when walking around.
