About

Palm Island beach is located on the Caribbean Sea (part of South Atlantic Ocean) and it is in the 1th place out of 34 beaches in the Saint Vincent and the Grenadines region 65.5 km away from its center, the city of Kingstown. It is one of the most beautiful beaches of Clifton settlement, just 2.7 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place with very picturesque views, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a long lasting coastline with crystal turquoise water and white sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, hikers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

Palm Island beach coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, changing rooms, showers, toilets, sea pool. There is also possible to take different water activities such as catamarans or jet skis.

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities, snorkeling, sup-surfing, sea kayaking, diving. This beach is popular for windsurfing or kiteboarding.

Fans of active recreation can take part in beach volleyball.

5 more beaches are also available within a 5 km radius. The best one is Davids beach, which has a rating of 8.7.

Palm Island beach (Saint Vincent and the Grenadines) is located outside the Clifton settlement, which may cause some difficulties for travelers who stay far from the coast. However, the remoteness from the village is not always a bad thing. Lovers of quiet rest know, the farther the beach, the fewer crowds.

The beach stretches on the coast of the Palm island and the correct question is not how to get to Palm Island beach, but what mode of transport can be used to get to it, because this part of the coast is inaccessible by land. The beach can only be reached by water and you have to rent a boat to get there.

What to do in Palm Island beach? Are there any attractions or entertainments in region?

If you like outdoor activities, the Palm Island beach can offer such an experience. In particular - SUP surfing. The beach stands out for an excellent base for this kind of sport. And the bonus is the gorgeous scenery from the water. Just try, we recommend it!

The deeper you dive, the more interesting the surrounding scenery - that's how you can characterize Palm Island beach, but that doesn't mean that landscapes are uninteresting and it's better to spend all your time underwater. The fact is that one of the key activities on the beach is diving. Here you can scuba dive not only as a professional, but also a beginner, as there are several companies along the coast engaged in diving and diver training. Take advantage.

When it comes to what to do in Palm Island beach, it's impossible not to mention an insanely popular activity: snorkeling. The coastal waters of the region are full of interesting views, which can be observed through a snorkeling mask. Well, if you do not have the necessary equipment for snorkeling - everything can be purchased at the nearby shops.

Extremes can be moderate or excessive, so if you are a fan of the first type, than Palm Island beach welcomes you, offering kite and windsurfing. If on the contrary, it is not your kind of activity, we recommend you to find another beach, since the presence of lots of kite surfers on water can have a negative impact on the comfort of your leisure.

There is no particular indicator for the extremity of any particular activity, but if there were, then sea kayaking is definitely at the bottom of the scale. If you are a fan of this kind of entertainment, you can do your favorite activity at Palm Island beach. See what our users think about it in the reviews section.

In most cases, the question What to do on Palm Island beach implies the presence of any excursions or attractions near the beach. Of course in this area there are lots of places to go besides the beach. There are historical, entertainment and even gastronomic tours offered by local guides. More information is better to clarify directly on the spot.

I cannot provide a review of the hotel as it was closed during my visit due to low season. However, I must say that the beach in this area is truly outstanding. It is impeccably maintained and there is a security guard on duty 24 hours a day. Additionally, the beach offers a lovely spot for anchoring at a depth of approximately 18 meters. It is well protected from winds coming from the east and southwest. We definitely plan on returning once the hotel reopens.

The staff at the beach were incredible! The head manager consistently made an effort to check in on us and see if there was anything she could do to enhance our stay. Every employee was extremely friendly and appeared to genuinely enjoy their work, as I observed several of them dancing and singing while on duty! Additionally, the island itself is stunning! It offers bicycles and well-maintained paths for enjoyable rides, as well as nature trails for those seeking a bit more adventure. Another highlight of this resort was the outstanding menu and delicious dishes. All in all, this place is absolutely fantastic!

The resort allows their employees to use private water taxis to commute from Clifton to Palm Island, but unfortunately, these taxis operate in an unsafe manner. They speed through the mooring area at almost full throttle, creating unnecessary large wakes and posing a risk of dangerous collisions with smaller dinghies. Staying at this resort comes with its own risks, and I can't help but feel sorry for the employees who simply want to reach their workplace safely. It seems that the boat captain has a need for speed, but what will happen if an accident occurs and an employee doesn't make it home at the end of the day?

We stayed at this beautiful resort a decade ago, and the only aspect we were not fond of was the management. The food was not exceptional, and it was difficult to locate the manager when we had inquiries or complaints. However, I am aware that the situation has changed since then and the resort has received positive reviews. Therefore, we are willing to give it another chance. We thoroughly enjoyed activities like sailing to Mayreau and exploring the turtles. Thank you for keeping us informed!

The beach is absolutely stunning, with a peaceful atmosphere and exclusively for adults. It offers an all-inclusive experience, where the General Manager and the staff provide outstanding service. The food and drinks are fantastic, and the spa services are of excellent quality. Guests are also provided with bikes to explore the island, and the beaches are truly breathtaking, with the most vibrant blue water you can imagine. It is an incredibly relaxing experience, and the level of service is unmatched, from the moment you book until you board your return flight.
