I wish I could give this property more than 5 stars!! It's absolutely stunning, with perfectly maintained grounds and villas. The real magic of this place lies in the staff (every single member of their team was exceptional). From our pick-up at the ferry to check-in to breakfast and dinner -- every interaction was friendly and effortless. However, there was one team member who went above and beyond any expectations I had for customer service. Our Villa Host, Sonni, went the extra mile to ensure that all of our needs, both anticipated and unexpected, were taken care of. I can't express enough how grateful I am that Sonni was assigned to our villa and I truly hope he is recognized and rewarded for his outstanding work. My advice: make a reservation at this resort, request Sonni as your host, and engage with as many staff members as possible -- they are an amazing team! Makayla from the concierge team is also exceptional! I can only hope to have the opportunity to return to Cap Juluca in the future.
The stay was excellent. The service provided by the staff was very good, and they were genuinely friendly and extremely accommodating. The rooms were beautiful and well-maintained. The housekeeping was thorough, and the beach was always uncrowded. It is a stunning property with kind-hearted and beautiful people.
If I had to sum up this resort in a few words, I would say it was incredibly dull. During our mini-moon stay at Cap Juluca, my husband and I couldn't help but wonder what we were missing out on. The whole property seemed lifeless, leaving us feeling extremely bored. Additionally, the buildings and rooms desperately need to be torn down and rebuilt. While the decor and some of the finishes were nice, you could easily tell how old the resort was by the leaks and poorly patched holes in the walls of the restaurants and rooms. The walls were so thin that I was convinced someone was in our room all night. The beds were as uncomfortable as sleeping on a rock, and this is coming from someone who prefers a firm mattress. We even had to complain to management about the beds, and their solution was to add pillow-tops. But why should we have to complain in the first place? Considering the price of the rooms, all the beds should have been comfortable from the first night. As for the service, we understood that things move slower on "island time," but that excuse quickly lost its validity when we decided to leave our reservation at Cap early and stay at the Four Seasons instead. The difference in service between Cap and Four Seasons was like night and day. The atmosphere at Four Seasons was much more vibrant and upscale, and the food justified the price, unlike the disappointing meals at Cap. One last thing worth mentioning is that I expected a 5-star resort to pay attention to detail and have a much more impressive view upon arrival. Unfortunately, most of the rooms faced a depressing "pond" with a view of rundown concrete buildings. As a Belmond property, I was unimpressed and had higher expectations for the level of detail and overall experience. I left this resort feeling incredibly disappointed with our mini-moon. I will definitely be avoiding Belmond properties for our honeymoon.
We visited this beach for a day trip with our young child, as we were staying at a different hotel. Our interaction with Justin-Time was absolutely amazing. He was friendly from the beginning and immediately assisted us in finding a spot on the beach. The customer service was excellent! The drinks were delicious and the water was incredibly clear. It doesn't get any better than that!
This resort is incredibly peaceful and stunning. It is undoubtedly the finest beach in Anguilla. The service provided is top-notch, with every staff member being extremely friendly and hospitable. The dining experience at each restaurant is simply delightful, with mouthwatering dishes served. One must not miss out on trying the crayfish, which is available at every restaurant. Without a doubt, I will definitely be returning here in the future.
