Karasan beach is located on the Black Sea and it is in the 66th place out of 139 beaches in the Republic of Crimea region 45.1 km away from its center, the city of Simferopol. It is one of the beaches of Utios settlement, just 0.4 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area with very picturesque views, among the mountains.

It is a spacious several bays coastline with crystal blue water and gray pebble, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The entrance to the water is quite sharp. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, pet owners etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

If you're near Mount Plaka, you can bask in the evening sun for a bit longer than other beaches in the area. At other local beaches, the sun sets a full 30 minutes or even an hour earlier. There's a diving center nearby, with rusty stairs leading into the water. Underneath the surface, you'll find plenty of stones and aquatic life to explore.

I absolutely adore this beach in Crimea. It's not crowded, the water is crystal clear, and the scenery is breathtaking. It would be great if the beach was improved, but I still highly recommend visiting it.
