Costinesti beach, a sandy strip stretching 5 kilometers, is a favorite among the young and restless. Located in the village of Costinesti, about 30 kilometers from Constanta, it's easily accessible by road or train. Split into two parts, the southern end is wide and packed with people while the northern end is narrower and more secluded. The entire coast is flat, lacking any cliffs, and is covered in pure, yellow sand that gradually slopes into the calm and crystal-clear sea, making it the perfect spot for swimming or snorkeling. The beach is fully equipped to cater to the needs of its youthful audience, staying open 24 hours a day during peak season. During the day, visitors can enjoy sports facilities, entertainment attractions, a diving center, billiard club, cafes, and souvenir shops. And when night falls, the real fun begins with parties, discos, festivals, and concerts, along with 24-hour bars dotting the beach area. Accommodations are plentiful and affordable, with cheap pensions, motels, and campsites as well as villas and hotels offering more comfortable conditions. But be warned, this beach may be popular, but it's not for everyone. If you're looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway, you might want to look elsewhere.
The stretch of sandy coastline, frequented by the younger generation, is abundant with lively activity. The beach is notably lengthy and often bustling with crowds of people. It offers a plethora of entertainment options, including various restaurants and a large disco pub. Overall, it is a vibrant and exciting destination for those seeking a fun-filled day at the beach.
Although the beach is bustling with people, it still manages to maintain its charm. To secure a spot on the beach, you must pay approximately 60 ron for a lounge chair and parasol. The water is crystal clear and pleasantly warm, making it an ideal spot to take a dip. However, it is essential to be cautious of jet skis and boats that may come dangerously close to the shore. To avoid any mishaps, stay alert and avoid getting overrun. The beach is also dotted with numerous bars and fast food options, and there are plenty of fun sea activities to indulge in, such as riding the crazy sofa or exploring the nearby shipwreck.
The beach experience was quite unpleasant due to the bothersome and pushy staff. The loud and conflicting music playing incessantly was overwhelming and left me feeling fatigued and exasperated. To make matters worse, everything was exorbitantly priced, with a staggering 40 Ron charged for a single beach chair. Despite the sunset barely beginning at 6 pm, guests were asked to vacate their chairs. Overall, I was left feeling disappointed and would not recommend the beach for a relaxing experience. The crowds were overwhelming and the beach was dirty. However, I did enjoy the boat ride and opted to explore other stations instead of enduring the unbearable beach experience.
The sandy beaches of Costinesti are a must-visit for anyone seeking a beach getaway. However, due to their immense popularity, they tend to get quite crowded. To secure a spot on the beach, it's advisable to arrive early in the morning. Additionally, the water isn't the cleanest, but it's still refreshing enough to take a dip. One major advantage of Costinesti is that it's a budget-friendly destination and is especially popular among young people.
