While snorkeling at this beach, we were delighted to observe a plethora of fish swimming in the shallow waters. Moving further out into the ocean, we found some coral reefs, although most of them were dead. Nevertheless, we were able to spot a diverse range of fish species there, along with a beautiful starfish and some gorgeous seashells. This is a great spot for shelling enthusiasts. However, the seaweed and dead sea leaves on the beach were a bit of a letdown when compared to the breathtaking beaches of Culebra, such as Flamenco or Tamarindo.
A hidden gem in Vieques, this beach is a natural wonder. The cove is nestled among mangroves and opens up to the vast ocean, creating a stunning view. While lounging space is limited due to the rocky terrain, the beach is perfect for adventurous souls who enjoy exploring the rugged coastline. I spent an hour sitting on a cliff, mesmerized by the sound of the waves crashing against the smooth stones. It was a serene experience that left me in awe of the beauty of this world. Who needs a crowded beach when you can have this peaceful paradise all to yourself?
The beach is incredibly stunning.
