Praia Baleal - Norte is located on the North Atlantic Ocean (part of Atlantic ocean) and it is in the 7th place out of 61 beaches in the Centro region 152.3 km away from its center, the city of Aveiro. It is one of the beaches of Parque Residencial Balealcoop settlement, just 1 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, surrounded by the cliffs.

It is a long lasting coastline with crystal blue water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, families with children, seniors etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Praia Baleal - Norte coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, changing rooms, showers, toilets. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.

Very nice public beach 🏖 (supervised by lifeguards) quite good for surfing 🏄🏻‍♂️ ... although, the number of surfers in the water has been above average while I was there

Beautiful place and a great beach for surfing. Sometimes the waves are to high and scary, but usually it is good for my intermediate-beginner-learner level ;) The beach is smaller than the other Baleal beach (sul), but usually has better conditions for learning to surf. But it is also cool to sit there, there are some rocks that can protect you from the wind. One thing though, there are like two big rocks 🪨 in the water, that you can’t see from the beach. Be carful when you surf there not to hit one of them when falling off board. Other than that, it’s a great spot. Highly recommend, for surfing, lying on the beach or maybe even doing some tough on the sand :)
