Praia da Ponta Pequena is located on the North Atlantic Ocean (part of Atlantic ocean) and it is in the 111th place out of 152 beaches in the Algarve region 31.8 km away from its center, the city of Faro. It is one of the beaches of Patroves settlement, just 2.1 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place with very picturesque views, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs.

It is a small bay with crystal blue water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Praia da Ponta Pequena coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .

Getting to the beach is quite simple: just take a short walk along the trail. Parking is located at some distance, within 300 meters.

Lovely small beach encircled by rocks. Access to open sea via small cave/rock bridge. Many boats visit this place for the view on the beach, but they do not access the beach as they cannot enter the cave. In the cave a hole in the ceiling gives a view of the sky.
