Praia dos Alemaes is located on the North Atlantic Ocean (part of Atlantic ocean) and it is in the 19th place out of 152 beaches in the Algarve region 28.2 km away from its center, the city of Faro. It is one of the beaches of Albufeira settlement, just 0.8 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, surrounded by the cliffs.

It is a long lasting coastline with crystal turquoise water and brown fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, seniors etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Praia dos Alemaes coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, toilets. There is also possible to take different water activities such as catamarans or jet skis. This area has also a water park in the sea with various inflatable toys which constitute excellent activities for parents and children. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities.

This stunning beach with a rich brown sand that is sure to catch your eye. There is no shortage of space for sunbathing, and the beach is conveniently located near bars, shopping malls, restaurants, and ice cream shops. You'll find mineral water showers, changing rooms, and public toilets available for your convenience. Parking can be a challenge, so it's best to park at your hotel and walk downhill to the beach. The promenades offer breathtaking views of the open Atlantic, and the surrounding rock formations make for perfect profile photo opportunities. Be sure to explore the nearby small cave. While the water may be chilly in June, it's still refreshing enough for a swim. Don't forget to pack your beach tennis gear for a fun activity on the sand.

Ever since my childhood, I have been a frequent visitor to this beach. The crystal-clear water is an enchanting sight to behold, and this year, the temperature has been pleasantly warmer than I can recall. The friendly and amicable Peak Oke only add to the charm of this place. The sand is incredibly soft, making it perfect for a leisurely stroll. Additionally, there is a quaint little library nearby, where one can pick up some books to read under the sun. And if you're feeling peckish, there's a cafe that serves delicious lunch plates. Overall, this beach is a delightful spot to unwind and relax.

The beach can get a little crowded, but the sand is still nice. The water may be a bit chilly at first, but after a while, it's the perfect temperature to cool off on hot days. The water is also crystal clear, and you can even spot some beautiful mussels. There are plenty of ice cream shops and restaurants within a three-minute walk. However, if you prefer a quieter beach experience, I would recommend checking out smaller beaches like Praia dos Aveiros or Praia da Oura, which are further from the city center.
