Praia Da Ribeira Brava is located on the Atlantic ocean and it is in the 11th place out of 27 beaches in the Madeira region 15 km away from its center, the city of Funchal. It is one of the beaches of Ribeira Brava settlement, just 0.2 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area with very picturesque views, among the mountains.

It is a spacious bay with crystal turquoise water and gray sand & rocks cover, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. The beach features a small area of soft black sand, approximately 30 meters in length, while the remaining portion is comprised of large, rounded pebbles or small rocks.
