The beach is absolutely lovely, and it's an ideal spot for surfing enthusiasts. Additionally, there's a surfing school for kids right on the beach. There are also plenty of options for dining, as well as convenient shower and public restroom facilities. The scenery is breathtaking, making it an all-around fantastic destination.
The beach located in the northern region of Portugal is decent enough. However, its vastness was a bit overwhelming for me. During my visit, the gusty winds made it less enjoyable. Additionally, the water temperature was quite chilly.
The beach is an absolute gem and I am enamored with the sight of the waves violently crashing against the rugged rocks. The natural beauty of this location is breathtaking and I cannot help but feel a sense of tranquility and awe as I take in the stunning surroundings. It is truly a remarkable place that I would highly recommend to anyone seeking a peaceful escape.
The beach is absolutely stunning! The surf is incredible and the sand is of top-notch quality. The bars that line the waterfront are all fantastic. Additionally, there are public restrooms available for a small fee of 50 cents and complimentary showers for all visitors.
The expansive sandy beach is brimming with surfers, offering a prime location for lessons and an intriguing spectacle of surfing schools in action. Though the ocean waters may be chilly, there are a few rocky lakes that provide a suitable spot for knee-deep wading, especially for children. The beach is abuzz with beach games and activities, adding to the lively atmosphere. Conveniently accessible from Porto's old town, the beach can be reached via the urban train line from either Campanha or Sao Bento station towards Espinho. The train stops directly on the beach, and the Andante card is valid for this line, which runs approximately every 30 minutes.
