Escondida Beach is located on the Caribbean Sea (part of South Atlantic Ocean) and it is in the 4th place out of 14 beaches in the Colon region 16.3 km away from its center, the city of Colon. It is one of the beaches of Maria Chiquita settlement, just 2.7 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a long lasting coastline with crystal turquoise water and white sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

Escondida Beach is fully occupied by beach clubs with restricted entrance. The beach facilities are only available to visitors of resort area. Their list includes, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, changing rooms, showers, toilets, sea pool. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.

Please note, that this shore has a significant low tide.

The resort experience was absolutely amazing. Our apartment had a breathtaking view of the ocean. The beaches were pleasantly uncrowded, and there were plenty of complimentary water activities to enjoy. The staff was abundant and always ready to assist. The facilities were stunningly beautiful. It's a secluded location, so make sure to bring your own supplies and simply relish in the tranquility. I would definitely return without a doubt.

The beach was fantastic. It was practically deserted when I visited in June 2022. It's quite remote, so having your own car is necessary. The isolation adds to its charm, making it peaceful and stunning. The staff and security were excellent.
