We stumbled upon this place almost accidentally, and I'm really glad we did. The location is fantastic - right on the beach. The rooms were impeccably clean and the property is well-maintained - no signs of rust, chipped paint, or any evidence of being exposed to the salty air (and I know how challenging it can be to keep things in good condition under those circumstances.) The owner is cheerful and fluent in five languages: Spanish, Dutch, English, Italian, and I believe German as well. The rooms offer privacy while still providing a great view, thanks to clever architecture. The well-shaded chairs in the sand, overlooking the beach, are perfect for sitting and enjoying a book in the afternoon. We were extremely satisfied with our stay. The only drawback is that it's a bit of a drive to reach any restaurants, but the place has a kitchen so you can also prepare your own meals. The internet speed is good, and the shower/bathroom facilities are top-notch (those details really matter.)
Casa Caracol is a destination that offers tranquility and the opportunity for peaceful walks along the beach, while still being conveniently located near the city and tourist attractions. As experienced travelers, we usually prefer not to revisit the same place so soon after our previous visit. However, the friendly and helpful staff, along with the exceptional accommodations, have left a lasting impression on us. The nearby restaurants are of high quality, and we highly recommend them. We will definitely return to fall asleep to the soothing sound of the waves and enjoy the company of the wonderful hosts.
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Caracol. We had the pleasure of staying in the Pearl Suite, which provided breathtaking views of the ocean and the soothing sound of the waves crashing. The room was impeccably clean and incredibly cozy, ensuring a comfortable stay. Our hosts were extremely kind and accommodating, making our experience even more enjoyable. Additionally, there are some excellent restaurants just a short drive away. Needless to say, we were absolutely delighted with our time there.
We spent the long Easter weekend at Casa Caracol, arriving on a Thursday afternoon and leaving on Sunday morning. The location is really pleasant and has everything you need for a comfortable stay: it's right by the beach and the accommodations are very nice. We were also able to enjoy the convenience of a full kitchen and BBQ. Additionally, it's worth mentioning that the place is pet friendly, which is a rarity in Panama where there aren't many accommodations that allow pets. The only drawback to our stay was that for two out of the three nights, the entire place experienced a power outage in the evening. This made it quite difficult to sleep as the temperatures were high and without ceiling fans or AC, it got uncomfortably warm. The owners made every effort to contact the Energy company and get the issue resolved quickly, but unfortunately, it took longer than we would have preferred. It's possible that due to the holidays, there was an increased demand for electricity which overwhelmed the system. Apart from the power issue, it's important to note that the owners are extremely welcoming and do their utmost to ensure a pleasant stay for their guests. We were thrilled to have found this place and will definitely return, although we'll avoid the high holiday season.
I had an incredible time during my brief stay at Suites on the Beach, and I'm already excited about coming back for a whole week during the Christmas holiday later this year. Silvard and Barbara, the owners, were extremely hospitable and kind, and the peacefulness of the surroundings is truly unbeatable. If you're searching for a stunning place to unwind, just a short distance from Panama City, this is the perfect spot!
