Torio Beach is located on the Pacific ocean and it is in the 4th place out of 11 beaches in the Veraguas region 60.5 km away from its center, the city of Santiago. It is one of the beaches of Torio settlement, just 0.5 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a long lasting coastline with blue water and black sand & pebble cover, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, pet owners etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

This coastal gem may not be for those seeking a bustling party scene or posh restaurants, but if you're after a tranquil retreat surrounded by nature, look no further than Torio. This secluded beach town is still largely undeveloped, inhabited by local fishermen and farmers, as well as a growing community of expats dedicated to sustainable living. While the road to Torio is currently under construction, a sturdy 4x4 vehicle will ensure a smooth journey. It's also important to stock up on supplies beforehand, as the nearest supermarket and ATM are located in Mariato Town. But for those seeking a peaceful escape and leisurely strolls along the beach, Torio is a must-visit destination.
