Our excursion to this beach was primarily for diving, and we were pleasantly surprised by the breathtaking scenery that surrounded us. However, it is important to note that the road leading up to the dive site is a two-way street, but once you reach your destination, it becomes a one-way road heading north. The road also becomes increasingly narrow, making it impossible to turn around once you have passed a certain point. If you plan on returning to town, be prepared for a detour through Rincon that can take up to 30 minutes, but it's worth it for the stunning views along the way.

The beach is stunningly picturesque, though it may not actually have 1000 steps as rumored. The shoreline is composed of rocks and is set against a spectacular cave wall, while the water is crystal clear and filled with an abundance of fish. Although it presents more of a demanding snorkeling experience compared to other locations on the southern end of the island, it is a destination that should not be missed and is certainly worth the effort. It is advisable to wear water shoes or durable sandals when traversing the beach as the terrain is quite rocky.

The beach is truly delightful, with crystal clear water that shimmers in a light blue hue. It's a perfect spot to catch a glimpse of sea turtles swimming in the distance. The area is also teeming with a variety of birds, and if you're lucky, you may even spot a colorful parrot. It's recommended to bring a pair of water shoes along to fully enjoy this beach experience.

The beach is an excellent spot for diving and offers plenty of opportunities to observe wildlife. However, the stairs can be quite challenging when carrying equipment, so it's best to wear it down and up the stairs instead of hauling it.
