The beach was stunning and conveniently located just a $5 fare away from our cruise port. Entry was free of charge. It's known for its refreshing breeze and is a popular spot for windsurfers. You can kick back at one of the laid-back beach bars and enjoy the view.
Despite the presence of crying babies, you can still have a great time at this beach. Whether you're looking to be active on the water, relax in it, or party next to it, this beach has it all. If you're interested in windsurfing, Jibe is the place to go, but if they're all booked up, Sebastian's is a great alternative. For those who enjoy a leisurely walk through the water, you can head to the end of the bay and snorkel at the reef, where you might even spot some sharks and rays. If you're looking for a lively party scene, be sure to check out Sebastian's on a Sunday. And if you want to spend a day at Sorobon without going to a beach club, simply drive past them all and find a shady spot under a tree to relax for hours on end.
The beach had stunningly blue-green water with varying shades of color. It was enjoyable to wade in the warm water up to waist height and watch the wind surfers, who were full of energy and had colorful sails. Even if you weren't interested in swimming or snorkeling, it was a peaceful and relaxing day at the beach.
If you're looking to swim or snorkel, this might not be the best spot for you. The water is quite shallow and there are protected underwater plants to watch out for. However, it's a great location for kitesurfing.
I had an incredible time at Sorobon Beach. The drinks and lunch were great, and the water was truly something else. I've never seen anything like it before - crystal clear and waist-high even a mile out. It was an absolutely unreal experience.
