Preskil Island Beach is located on the Indian ocean and it is in the 7th place out of 89 beaches in the Mauritius region 36.7 km away from its center, the city of Port Louis. It is one of the beaches of Pointe d'Esny settlement, just 1.2 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area with very picturesque views. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and white sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. The food was oily, the hotel managers were friendly, but the hotel is not worth more than $100 a night for half board. The bacon at breakfast was undercooked, all the food was greasy, and the pizza was messy. The beach was unremarkable, the fruit was not chilled, and the juice tasted like sugar water. I was asked to leave my room an hour before the stated check-out time of 12:00, which was listed on my reservation. The place could use a thorough cleaning, and I would not choose to stay there again.
