This picturesque beach boasts a soft sandy shoreline and rolling waves, making it the ideal spot to catch some waves and take surf lessons. The breathtaking views from the cliff edge are truly awe-inspiring and add to the overall charm of this beautiful beach. Whether you're a seasoned surfer or a beginner, this beach is the perfect place to hone your skills and soak up the natural beauty that surrounds you.
The beach presents a picturesque view of the sun setting in the horizon, which is truly breathtaking. However, the primary issue is that visitors tend to litter the area with their garbage and cigarette butts, which is quite disappointing. Despite this, the water has the potential to be crystal clear, but one must venture further out into the ocean to experience it.
The beach we visited was truly exceptional. Our arrival in the morning at 09:30 afforded us the luxury of finding it almost deserted, and throughout the day it remained refreshingly uncrowded. The water was delightfully warm and the sand was soft and inviting. Moreover, the water had a gentle, easy entry that made swimming a pleasure. However, the downside was the exorbitant cost of the sunbed sets, which were priced at a steep 19 euros for just two sunbeds and an umbrella. To save on costs, we recommend purchasing your own umbrella from the local stores, where you can find one for as low as 15 euros.
This charming beach is the perfect spot for a sunset swim, with its warm waters and serene atmosphere. Though the water may not be crystal clear, the yellow sand and lush natural surroundings make for a truly unforgettable experience. Nestled away from the chaos of the city, this hidden gem, also known as Ghajn Tuffieha, boasts a picturesque setting that invites visitors to unwind and soak up the sun. Accessible via a long flight of stairs, Riviera Bay is a must-see destination for anyone seeking a tranquil escape.
The beach was indeed beautiful, but it was not as impressive as we expected. We went there with our two children, aged 6 and 12, hoping for a fun day out, but it was not as enjoyable as we had hoped. The water was shallow, which may be great for small children, but it was not ideal for swimming. Furthermore, there were not enough beach chairs and umbrellas, which made it difficult to find a comfortable spot to relax. The small café on one side of the beach was the only option for food and drink, and it was not very impressive. Overall, we were disappointed with the beach and would not recommend it to others. If you're traveling with small children, we suggest giving this beach a try, but we also recommend checking out Golden Bay for a better experience.
